...da war einer, der auszog Musik zu machen...
Schon 1970 verspürte ich den Drang Musik zu spielen; zu transportieren. Nachdem ich erkannte, dass das Schlagzeug mein Instrument ist, begann meine Reise in die musikalische Welt der Töne.
...im übrigen war mein allererster Song an meinem Schlagzeug „Bad Moon Rising“ von CCR...
In einer ersten Band sammelte ich, für einige Jahre, meine Erfahrungen, geprägt durch Einflüsse von Creedence Clearwater Revival, Grad Funk Railroad, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Deep Purple, Camel, Black Sabbath, Spooky Two, Gentle Giant, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, Earth Wind & Fire, Christopher Cross, John Mayall, Dire Straits, Mother Earth, Jimmy Hendrix...
Nach einer „kurzen“ Pause, durch Familie und Job, in der auch meine wunderbare Tochter Daniela das Licht der Welt erblickte, habe ich nun wieder, und das wirklich glücklicherweise, die Möglichkeit mich zu verwirklichen, welches ich dann auch mit dem Song "Tochter" tat!
Dank an dieser Stelle auch meiner Frau, Angelika, die dies alles mit mir gemeinsam trägt.

...in die Band "GREENIZON“ stieg ich 2005 ein, wir spielten Cover-Songs von Green Day, Extra Breit, Die Toten Hosen, United Balls, und Blur...
...daraus gründete sich durch Umbesetzung die Deutsch-Rock Band „STIFF!“, mit der ich seit 2010 Live auf Bühnen wie Hof 23, SO36, Lido, FritzClub im Postbahnhof, Berliner Rockhaus, und immer wieder mal im „Brücken Eck“, einer kleinen Neuköllner Kneipe mit einer Bühne, die es inzwischen leider nicht mehr gibt, unterwegs war. Ein ganz besonderer Moment in meinem Leben war, anlässlich einer Gedenkfeier von „Christ und Motorrad“, für die verunglückten/verstorbenen Biker, in der Sankt Matthias Kirche am Winterfeldplatz, zu spielen...
..."STIFF!“ ist inzwischen auch Geschichte...
...ich knüpfte einige andere Kontakte, und hatte das Glück, interessante Musiker kennenzulernen, u. a. Akim Jensch, der mit seiner Frau zusammen mit „Tina Voice & Akim Jensch“ unterwegs ist.
Akim und ich, zusammen sind wir „DABROKIM“, haben über einige Projekte miteinander Musikstücke vertont, u. a. von Akim Jensch, André Dahlke, Heike Gaida, Susan Bonath, und es werden noch weitere entstehen...
...im Januar 2015 schloss ich mich der Band „Lobus Frontalis“ an, mit der wir an Aufnahmen für die CD "Human Colours" gearbeitet haben...
...in 2016 folgte eine schöne, wenn auch kurze, Zeit mit der Gray Hound Rockband...
...seit Ende 2016 habe ich mich der Band "The Cool Tubes" angeschlossen, ein Programm wird erarbeitet...
...Rockige Klänge, mit den "The Cool Tubes" zum Einen, und akustische Klänge, als "Straw Fire" zum Anderen...

In 1970, I felt the urge to gamble music; to transport. After I realized that the drums are my instrument, began my journey into the musical world of sounds.

In a first band I gathered, for several years, my experiences are clearly influenced by Creedence Clearwater Revival, Grand Funk Railroad, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Deep Purple, Camel, Black Sabbath, Spooky Two, Gentle Giant, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull , Earth Wind & Fire, Christopher Cross, John Mayall, Dire Straits, Mother Earth, Jimmy Hendrix...
After a "short" break through family and job, in my wonderful daughter Daniela saw the light of day, I now again, and really fortunately, the possibility to realize the me, which I then also with the song "Daughter" did!

...it was founded by reshuffling the German rock band "STIFF!" with which I since 2010 live on stages like Hof 23, SO36, Lido, Fritz Club im Postbahnhof, Berliner Rockouse, and from time to time in the "Brücken Eck" , a small Neuköllner pub with a stage, which unfortunately no longer exists now, was underway. A very special moment in my life was the occasion of a commemoration of "Christ and motorcycle", for the injured / deceased bikers to play at St. Matthias Church on Winterfeldplatz...

...I made several other contacts, and had the good fortune to meet interesting musicians, including Akim Jensch who is with his wife along with "Tina Voice & Akim Jensch" go.

...in January 2015, I joined the band "frontal lobe" at, with which we have worked on recordings of the CD "Human Colours"...
...in 2016 was followed by a nice, albeit short, time with the Gray Hound Rock Band...
...since the end of 2016 I have joined the band "The Cool Tubes", a program is being developed.
Rocky sounds, with "The Cool Tubes" on the one hand, and acoustic sounds, as "Straw Fire" on the other...
